In fact, they had never expected to need anyone else. Hogwarts changed that. School proved that family isn't just about the blood that runs in your veins, you can choose. It was the Weasley's that became their family when they had none. For that, they are forever grateful. Being surrounded by familiar faces that they cared so deeply about changed their perspectives. Fred in particular hadn't caught her eye in the way it had until her fourth year, the thought of exploring anything outside of a friendship hadn't crossed either of their minds.
