This will be an accumulation of all the poems I write in my spare time. This is to practice with my writing and hopefully improve with my language skills. Hope you enjoy! There is a story behind this, as you'll see from the repetition of certain phrases throughout the collection. Essentially, the collection is set in an alternate universe where there are two factions: the Light and the Dark. They are mediated by a single entity that will ensure balance throughout the millennia. However, the Light faction has take several steps too far, discriminating the members of the Dark while trying to recruit the Neutrals, who are those born without a natural tie to either faction. The entity, which has fallen into the distant myths of ancient generations, rises once more to restore the balance, dubbed the Savior by the Dark and the Blight by the Light. Before he completes his task, he is slain by a rogue soldier, resulting in the balance tipping towards the Dark. The world succumbs to darkness, mourning the loss of their hero.

{poetry : completed} "𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐤𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞." in a tiny corner of the world, but in the vast corner of my imagination, this is my paracosmic delusion, something that i've created out of indignant, dejected and euphoric emotions. each word in this book constitutes my delusional nightmares, the ones that i know aren't really there, yet i write about them anyway. this is me, my barest and deepest feelings, and my monstrous thoughts. ✦✦✦ {all rights reserved || ©2021, ashe} {published on may 30, 2021} {cover designed by @paracosmic_being} {peace \/}
