For billions of years, people believed all living things lived on earth. Humans knew their solar system but knew nothing of the galaxies beyond. Maybe they weren't looking hard enough. Or maybe they weren't looking in the right places. But no one ever thought that life beyond the human race, life beyond planet earth, did not want to be found.

That is, of course, no one except me, Cyra Nym. The one, the only, kick-butt, hardcore, space heroine. But I wasn't always that cool. In Fact, I used to be . . . let me just start this story from the beginning. Boot camp.
