In this story, I have one of my OCs, who is known as David Mason, take place in the manga/show: Beastars. If you know of Beastars, then you know it takes place in a world where anthropomorphic animals are the dominant species instead of humans. If you don't know what Beastars is, it's like animal people with R rated Zootopia rules. If you don't know what Zootopia is either, you need to either watch the movie or start reading the Beastars manga lol

Australia was once a country with Carnivores and Herbivores coexisting with the Omnivores. Humans, considered class Omnivores, came out with a strange pathogen. During the first week, humans were infected with a virus showing cannibalistic behaviour only to their own species. Biting. Eating the flesh of ones own species. Violent behaviour. It baffled scientists at it's cause, wondering what it is. Animals however, were invisible to the infected Omnivores. Humans were ignoring the Herbivores and Carnivores. Until, they too got infected. Somehow they did. Whatever caused it, they can see both human and animal as their prey. Even if their prey are carnivores. The army lost control within the first month. Airports shut down in areas nearby, while flights didn't dare to go back to Australia. No other country was willing to take Refugees. But one showed compassion and opened it's doors. One female scientist in the military made it a goal to find a solution before things get bad. ___________________________________________ Warnings: Blood descriptive depth of Injury and blood.
