Summer vacation is usually a wonderful time for nine-year-old Billy. Not this year, however. After Billy is injured in an accident, he has to spend the rest of his summer with two broken legs. Coping with the trauma of the accident and the disappointment over his seemingly ruined summer is difficult for him, but when he rediscovers a forgotten storybook he received from his grandfather, he finds that this may not be a broken summer after all.

Summer, a timid and introverted third-year student, who loves adventure within the comforting embrace of her favorite books. She also loves surfing and being with the ocean. Summer's world turns upside down when her beloved aunt, her only family, tragically passes away. Left alone and grieving, she is faced with the sudden reappearance of her estranged father, who now becomes her legal guardian. As she navigates the complexities of her new reality, Summer must confront her past, her uncertain future, and the unexpected connections that emerge along the way. As Summer starts to navigate the halls of her new school, her new family and her new life, she encounters a mysterious senior whose enigmatic gaze seems to pierce through her defenses. Drawn to his intriguing aura, she finds herself captivated by his presence, unaware of the secrets he holds and the role he'll play in shaping her uncertain future. 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢 Note: There will be a lot of typos on this story as I publish them without checking. Please comment and let me know. I personally don't like reading with misspelled words as it ruins the whole story. But please be kind. I only do this for fun so I don't have anyone to proof read and English is not my first language.
