When I Look At You
"You're so beautiful" he says, coming closer to me. "Stay away from me!", I yell at him. "I am trash and will always be trash that's why I can't stay and listen to your bullshit" I say with tears running down my face. I try to hurry pass him but he grabs me by the waist and whispers into my ear, "watch me turn this trash into treasure". Burnt to Ashes
For a long time, I had no one; I lost my father to another woman, and my mother slipped through my fingers. When she died giving birth to my little brother, I promised myself, I promised Nate, I promised Mumma I'd be a better person. I'd take care of him through anything.
