This is a journal-like story about a young man named Oliver Wright in New York City beginning in 1988. The story contains graphic depictions of violence, drug abuse, swearing, hallucinations, and probably inaccurate representations of mental illnesses or love. Our protagonist attempts to carry on with his misdeeds while trying to mask himself to keep up appearances. This, however, tends to be spoiled due to the fact that he works as both a newspaper editor and a detective. He explores who he is and figures out things about himself.
