Everyone has always knew of the boy with snow-white hair and red eyes, he was albino, unique and therefore bullied. No one liked difference, and therefore no one liked him - atleast not openly.
And then another boy came along, someone with violet eyes, a deep purple, something unique, another person who was different. The difference being that people actually liked this version of different, because this different was beautiful and the other different was not.

Oscar has been considered strange his whole life for being albino, because he had a lack of pigment in his eyes, hair and skin - he had always tried to ignore and avoid their whispers but it was always so hard, as you would expect considering he was called a freak everyday. Eventually he, that one other boy, Ivan, joined the same school as Oscar and that's when everything changed. Another boy who was different, perhaps not the same kind of different, perhaps a more beautiful different but different none the less. Someone Oscar felt he could actually relate to.
Well, he thought so until every girl in the school started to drool over him. It seemed everyone else also liked the different difference. Somehow though and for some reason, the new boy actually seemed interested in Oscar and for the first time in what had felt like forever, someone finally cared.
