"I feel safe around you.  You comfort  me."

The surreptitious monster turned around, her back facing the boy who has not realized he was in a trap.  She started letting her real self divulge. "That's not good.  You should be afraid."

When her legs started evaporating the startled boy realized something was wrong.  This person he'd given his trust to, wasn't even a person.  It was some fiend. "Always be afraid." 

"More importantly my dear boy, always be afraid of me."
