This is a story about Adam Parker. After his mother passed away, he was always alone. He and his mother's relatives believed that she died because of Adam's father, Robert Robinson, who's apparently the seventh most richest person alive. He hated his father a lot and wanted to live independently. He strongly believes that each and every person has some hidden motive behind every action. He believes that when two people treat each kindly, they are playing 'a game of deception.' When Adam pressurised his father to let him study in California, his father accepted his proposal: but on one condition. He had to socialise with people over at his school. This wasn't something Adam liked to do, but he felt that it was a small price when compared to the freedom he would gain. Thus, his 2nd year high school life starts over at the school who's principal was Adam's mother's brother(his Uncle). The story is about him applying effort to get close to people even though he doesn't want to. But, there still some mysteries which remain: what did Adam's father do so that Adam believed that his mother died because of his father? Who was the spy which Adam's father sent to Adam's new school? And more importantly, how was Adam's father's brother Patrick involved in all of this?
