Seventeen-year-old Hallie could have thought of a million better places to be staying for two weeks than her Aunt's home. But since her parents have cleared off for a romantic getaway, she will have to learn to co-exist with her moody cousin, Sydney.

When they're not trying to mend their relationship, however, Hallie notices something strange going on with Sydney, and she knows she sees it too. As of late, her cousin's mood swings seem to take on real-life effects as they leave douchebags like Brad Lewis with nosebleeds, and have the power to hurtle bowling balls at full speed across the room... with her mind.

With these newfound abilities, Sydney, Hallie and Stanley Barber have their hands full. How on Earth are they supposed to keep a lid on Syd's temper, and therefore her powers, when the already-taxing trials of everyday life are attacking them from all angles?
