It's been 1,800 years since anyone has been outside the walls. They were built to keep us safe. They were built to keep the "bad" out and the people of Duluth protected after the nuclear war. Nothing is out there.
Some people think that everything is out there. They think the people of Duluth's ancestors were not the lucky few saved from the wars but that they are actually being held there, being lied to by their own government.
Follow Zena (Zeh-Nuh), a wild and creative girl who has never known anyone who has ever stepped foot outside the wall, or even seen over it as she goes through the heartbreak of her twin brother being banished to the outlands.
