From the Depths She Rises

From the moment she first opened her eyes, she was watching. Waiting.
When the humans gathered around her, staring into the depths of the waters she called home, she was watching. Waiting.
When the large white creature from Above stepped dangerously close to her pool, she was watching. Waiting.
When the submarine was searching for the I. rex's skeleton in the beginning of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, she was watching. Waiting.
And, finally, she was ready to strike.
To capture.
To escape.
To rise.

Long story short, SauropodEmoji writes a oneshot told from the Mosasaurus's point of view at the beginning of Fallen Kingdom. She doesn't actually know what she's doing, but at least she tried!
Minor cursing ahead.
May eventually write a sequel (published in this book) set after Fallen Kingdom, but that's unlikely because I wrote this when I was bored and had nothing better to do.
