"Mother... Why did you have to leave?" My names Janet, a 19 year old woman that went through high and low to afford an apartment in Houston, Texas. My mother passed away a year ago which got me thinking: I need to start my life before it ends. I've visited many countries and speak 6 languages. Some people call me a traveler or an adventurist, but my friends have a nickname for me ever since 6 grade when I mentioned visiting Japan. The nickname was my favorite, they called me the Go-Getter.
