This story is about Sunday's life, a child growing up in a tumultuous home life and how she finds solace in the beauty of nature surrounding their new beach town. The best things in life are Sunday's older sister who is the mother figure in her life, and her best friend who lives up the hill in a cozy cottage. Sunday's family consists of her mother - who is irrational, her boyfriend - who is a deadbeat, an older brother, and a brand-new baby half-brother. With all the chaos in Sunday's young life, she remains sharp and navigates through her private life fearlessly. In response to their mother's vindictive and manipulative actions, they moved to this off-the-beaten-path town, to a run-down bungalow on the edge of town. Living here, their grifter mother's mood swings become more irrational and her alcoholic boyfriend's unscrupulous behavior grow dangerously freighting, and both- slowly become rotten to the core. The mother does everything in her power to keep the sisters away from their father just to make her point; her behavior is vindictive and manipulative. Seventeen is how many times they have moved since their mother took them away from their dad. Although there is much to be said about Sunday's situation, this new town becomes a sanctuary, filled with magic and wonder at every turn. This small beach town is surrounded by lush woods and tall cliffs, and on the highest peak overlooking the town, on the darkest night, the busy city can be seen in the distance with its twinkling lights. Sunday will stand there many times looking as she dreams of past times and dreams of better times. With the help of her sister's support and her best friend's cheerful behavior, Sunday remains resilient and stays hopeful. Because Sunday sees beauty in every bit of nature surrounding her, she finds solace on her long walks. She finds joy in exploring her new town, meeting new people, witnessing small miracles, holding onto faith in God, and diving into books.

Mercedes Kingsley is beautiful, spoiled, and one with a few different sides. Her best side? She has a huge and kind heart that she uses to put others first. She's adventurous, loves to have fun, and loves doing things her family hates. The one thing she does that her family hates? She has a love for helping the homeless. Mercedes's bad side is one you don't want to see. She hates being disrespected, hates being crossed, and if you piss her off, she isn't afraid to let that be known. Elon Kingsley, Mercedes's grandfather, is a billionaire with a multi-billionaire empire. He is very close to his granddaughter, and when he upset her, she wanted to hurt him, and with a friend, she took off to Antigua, letting only her employees know where she had run off to. While Mercedes and her friend, Alona, are vacationing, they meet men who make their time in Antigua much more fun. Alona fell in love with her guy, whereas Mercedes is skittish about the guy she meets. She loves everything about him. He's dreamy, sexy, has a nice body, and she loves his cocky talk and sense of humor. But the one thing she couldn't help but notice was that he looked awfully familiar to her. She never could place it, but the more they hung out, the more she took a liking to him until he mentioned wanting to further their relationship once they got back to the states. The problem? There was another man back home that she secretly held feelings for-a homeless man. A man she knew would never pass her families approval. But would the other man she met win her family's approval? After her grandfather passes away, she upsets many people for reasons that were out of her control then bad things started happening with all the hotels. She wasn't sure if it was a coincidence, her brother, Bentley, or the Bradley family that was causing all the problems. Mainly her grandfather's archenemy, Sterling Bradley, who had been trying to buy him out for years. Credit for cover: selfpubbookcovers.com/vikncharlie
