Sarah Watson is a seventeen year old girl living with her drunken mother and her saviour of a Grandmother. Sarah does not know why, but her mother despises her all because of who her father is. She has no friends at school and feels like the world is on her shoulders, until she meets the new boy, Matt.
What Sarah doesn't know is that her Mother has a secret, a big secret that has been kept for 17 years. Only one other person knows of this secret and that is her Grandmother. Sarah’s mother drinks herself stupid because of this secret and treats Sarah like a piece of dirt.
Will Sarah ever discover why her mother despises her so much? Will the truth of who her father is ever come out?
