The background~
Fun fact this story is based upon a true story about a haunted painting. The man who owns this painting name is Sean Robinson and he lives in northern England. This is just my fictionalized version of his story. I left a picture of the actual painting below.
Description ~
When a man Inherits a picture that's been passed down in his family for generations his whole life changes. He's never believed in the supernatural before but can't explain the events he was living with The Anguished Man painting in his own home. His grandmother provided him the necessary materials to be able to survive the hauntings of the painting. Him and his wife can't seem to bear the burden and he rids himself of it. What will happen to him ? And what will happen to the unfortunate soul to inherit this painting next .

Chp. 4 Preview: She was able to see what the paper had on it immediately after taking it from the shelf, and it made her heart immediately drop. Her blood sugar fell, and her face became pale, feeling dizzy. Her heart began racing as she saw me staring at her. The drawing she just found was a realistic depiction of myself smiling at the person who saw it. Unlike myself, who felt joy and inspiration from seeing father draw me this, mother was scared witless. Her legs became jelly, her body was paralyzed. All she could do was stare at the drawing, knowing that no one could have drawn this except an adult. And she knew I did not talk to any adults- or did I? Now she couldn't be too sure. This picture was from someone who knew how I looked, even getting the dimples on my cheeks and small birthmark on the side of my neck. It was someone that had to know me very well.Complete
