I do not wish to leave Gregor, Luxa and the Underland in war-torn despair. As such, I have written this story in an effort to heal some of the wounds which the Chronicles may have left in you. All of Gregor's family is dead, except for his beloved sisters, Lizzie, and Boots. Fearing for his sister's safety, he takes them to the Underland. In the Underland he finds, a new prophecy, one of gnawers. He must find a special plant, or else, all the gnawers could perish.

Approximately six years after returning to New York, Gregor felt his life beginning to change once again. He had kept contact with Luxa, his one true love after his family had chosen not to move to Virginia. Lizzie has had some interesting developments, as well as himself. When a letter comes to him from the Underland he realizes he has to return. The city of Regalia needs him once again.
