19-year-old Kris Leighton was a victim of murder. Unable to pass through the afterlife and gain eternal peace even after her killer has been caught and jailed, she continues to wander around as a spirit. Months after her death, Ashton Irwin, a drummer with a dream, meets Kris, and is somehow able to see and communicate with the awkward and friendly ghost.
Without second thoughts, Kris follows him everywhere, turning both their lives a little different.
