At the bidding of the Jedi Council, Irel is assigned to become General of Clone Legion 918. It is there she meets Commander Axe, one of the newer clone troopers, but no less experienced. As the war goes on, Irel finds herself learning how to command an army and take orders herself. Her questions for the Jedi Council deepen even more, especially as she begins to grow closer to her commander.
Commander Axe has been in the Clone Wars since the very first battle of Geonosis. When he finds out that his legion is being reassigned to another less experienced Jedi, Axe is worried what may happen to him and his men. He takes it upon himself to help their new general as much as he can. As they continue to work together, Axe finds himself falling for Irel. As the threat of war spills across the galaxy, what will they do to ensure victory and what will their freedom cost?
