The Dark Ages. To the supernatural world, this term refers to an era just after the creation of human beings, for in their wake, chaos followed closely behind. Humans hated the supernaturals, they were envious of their powers and strengths. And when they couldn't gain their gifts, the humans sentenced them to death.

The Moon Goddess, Artemis, one of the oldest Gods to exist, was devastated. She had watched every being come into the world, every moment of light and happiness, and She watched as the humans snuffed out the flames. Determined to save the supernaturals, She created a race of her own. They were stronger, faster, smarter than the humans. They had been made with sympathy, loyalty, and compassion. They were werewolves.

With the werewolves existence, supernatural beings plunged themselves into secrecy. They lived amongst the humans, befriended them, worked with them, built societies side by side. To this day, the supernatural race has stayed hidden, content with the peace found in ignorance.

A genetic mutation. A simple flaw in the DNA of a werewolf. That's all it took to cause darkness in the werewolf community. The creation of the werecats from the mutation caused an outrage in the wolves. They banished their children, killed mothers, enslaved men, whole prides were destroyed in raids.

But what if, by some twisted fate, a wolf and a cat were paired together, destined to spend the rest of their lives with the enemy?

What if the wolf realized that maybe, just maybe, cats weren't as horrendous as he had been raised to believe?

What if the cat realized that not all wolves are the same, that some can be trusted and even loved.
