Tortus: a world of magic the likes than none have ever seen before. That is, until average student Hajime Nagumo was kidnapped by God, along with his other classmates. Thrown into this magical world, Hajime suffers from the cruel fate of being the weakest of his class, and is subsequently betrayed. Thrown into the Abyss of the Great Orcus Labyrinth, Hajime undergoes true hell, before deciding to do anything he can to survive...
Even if it means becoming a Monster of the Abyss and killing everybody he comes across.
But Hajime is in for a big surprise once the hidden history of Tortus decides to rear its ugly head, and the Monster of the Abyss comes face to face with a much older Monster of the Abyss: A Revenant, a vampiric creature that feasts on the blood of humans. Wrought from the monstrous traitor, THE QUEEN, Hajime must face many hurdles along with this Beast, but the goal remains: Survive, and Eat.
