Maxx Danziger was born a prince- but not just any. The prince of Heaven, heir to the throne. Ever since he was young, he wondered how his life would be different if he weren't, and had always wanted to meet a demon, to see if what his parents said was true. 

Cody Carson was also an heir to a throne. He was the son of the king of Hell, or the Netherworld as they referred to it. There was no question that there was more freedom in Hell than Heaven, but it was never clear what ways. Cody's dad had always kept laws in place; same as earth, no murders, crimes, the normal things. 

Two princes, soon to be kings, become close friends, despite the fact that Heaven and Hell were supposed to be rivals; they, however, planned to change that.
