Ariana (Moana)

Ariana has lived on the island of Motunui her whole life, just like her parents before her and their parents before them. She loves the community in her happy village, from the farmers growing plentiful crops, to the talented basket weavers, to the fishermen filling their nets in the lagoons. As daughter of the chief, Ariana knows that one day the village and all of the inhabitants will be her responsibility. This is a bit daunting, particularly as a piece of her has always longed to explore the seas beyond the reef-something that has long been forbidden.

But when legendary darkness threatens their island, Ariana must venture on the voyage of a lifetime to find an ancient demigod and right past wrongs. Soon Ariana learns that sailing beyond the reef is much more difficult than she ever imagined. Will she be able to save her people in time?
