At my sides, my fists clench; my nails piercing my warm skin with a sting.

I refuse to release his lethal gaze. 

"What are you going to do about it?" I ask; provoking the challenge he inevitably longs for now. 

Then, Rio's gaze traces the features of my face a silent moment. And with his jaw still set, the gang leader's full lips curve.

"You just wait." He concludes smoothly in return, portraying the thinly veiled hostility that I know I have to get use to.
