Tessa-May Allana Black (Tessa) is a hunter. She has been since she was a little girl. At a young age while hunting a wendigo she had most of her face tore apart leaving the young Latina girl missing one eye and leaving a large whole in her cheek that made it easy to see into her mouth. Her body was covered in scars that bubbled out and left her beaten and broken.
Desarae Rosaline Black however always dreamt of something bigger. She wanted to live in a populated place. Somewhere as far from the woods as she could get. She had been a hunter herself until she leaves to join the real world. The young girl blends in with them with long blonde hair and bright blue eyes accompanied by tan skin.
The storey follows the two girls journeys as they develop apart in the strange world they've been thrown into.

It happened so quickly that no one even had a moment to respond to it. He was charging at me from across the room and I was standing frozen with wide eyes as he came at me. The wolf collided with me full force and my body slammed into the ground with a sickeningly loud crack. I felt all my bones snapping and rattling together as I hit the ground. The wolf caged me underneath himself his big sharp teeth snarling inches from my face. I blinked a couple time as I stared into those glowing blue eyes and I felt my heart beating in ears. Running faster, the girl made her way onto a dimly lit street with run down houses planted either side. The area was evidently the sort of place where a little child should never roam. When twelve year old Tamara Rose is attacked by demons, and her family is ruthlessly killed in front of her own eyes, she gets thrown into a wild, unknown world of hunting and magic.
