Pale skin, raven hair, ruby red lips. Snow White or a vampire? The difference doesn't matter to Nic, the princess is dying either way. Death and Love intertwine in a meddling force in Nic's story, for better or probably worse. Nic will stop at nothing to rid the world of monsters regardless of royal status. Why play the hero when the universe paints you a villain? Heroes are overrated. Villains get the job done.

They buried her with prayers and lanterns, never knowing she would rise again beneath the same pale moon. She came back wrong. Cold. Hollow. Hungry. The village she loved is gone now- burned from her memory, bled from her hands. She cannot take it back. She cannot undo what she's become. There is no redemption. Only the slow unraveling of what little humanity remains. She walks the earth like a ghost in her own skin, haunted by what she was, and hunted for what she is. This is not the story of a girl saved. It is the story of a girl lost- and the monster left behind. (Formerly titled The Girl Beneath the Moon)
