Leo Wants To Die
Winter is settling in, the air becoming nippy and cold, sinking deep into Leo's body. He doesn't move an inch. 'How long does it take to freeze to death?' Leo wondered, tucking his arms closer to his body, 'Ages probably...' He should go back, really, it was getting late. They'd be mad at him for being out so late. He was always messing up, so it wouldn't be any different than usual. He knew he was a headache. Maybe it would be better if he were- . It's been years since the almost apocalypse happened, all their wounds were healed and tough talks were had. So why is Leo feeling like this? What is wrong with him? Everything is fine! Why can't he just enjoy this happy ending like he's supposed to!? "when death holds my hand, i will hold you with the other and find you in another life again." denial: after first losing a loved one, you may feel shocked or numb. almost as if the death is not a real occurrence. this is a temporary way to deal with the rush of overwhelming emotion. its a defense mechanism. but in eden's case, the first stage of grief didn't seem to be temporary. and there is only one way to help him move on. tw ! suicide/death/addiction/mental illness mature contentComplete

Love is strange. It exists in many forms and is one of the key components that makes humans happy, but there isn't a lot of understanding surrounding it. At least not the kind of understanding with which the average person identifies. Agnes is one of the few people that can accept all kinds of love. Despite her dated name, she is a woman in her late 20's dealing with the death of most of her family. She's now stuck in the middle of figuring out how to raise children that she never saw in her future and deciding what love means for her, when it has to exist within layer upon layer of complication. She let go of her boyfriend after almost a decade because their love wasn't meant to exist under the strain of children, only to find herself confronted with the overpowering connection of her old high school sweetheart. The same man she ran away from because their values hardly aligned when it came to how love should be expressed long term. Within the midst of learning how to raise children and balance her ever-building career, Agnes tries to recover from her mother's death, seek comfort without complicating her circumstance, and figure out why her mother would name her Agnes. Finding real comfort starts to feel impossible, as her most available options are her ex-boyfriend and her assistant. Completed! Rejected 6 times** "This one just isn't for us."
