After enduring years of pain as a consequence of being confined by my Yandere stepbrother, I was finally freed from my misery by an unfortunate house fire. Whispers of a terrorist organization began circulating, hidden within the colonies. Now, they have completely seized Mars for their own dark motives. This group, The Mars Philanthropics (MP), had a name steeped in irony. They claimed to be "lovers of mankind," but in reality, they were far from benevolent. Their so-called charitable mission concealed a darker agenda. I wasn't a member of the military. Instead, I led my own organization-TAF (Terrorist Annihilator Force). Though small in size, we boasted the most seasoned and capable operatives. When the government realized the extent of MP's influence, they turned to us for help. This wasn't just another mission-it was a call to action against the most pervasive terrorist group in history. I'm regarded as the best spacecraft pilot, but this mission will challenge everything I've ever known. The year is 2028, society is frustrating and competitive. Anyone who has a fair sum of money can buy an android with artificial pain receptors which they can punch, kick, burn, cut and strangle to their enjoyment. This is the story of one such android, PD-4001, built with an extraordinary density of pain receptors, who runs away from its owner's retreat in the swiss alps. Although PD-4001 only has one plan at the start; to travel as far as possible, it eventually meets up with a group of rescued androids, and together they go to live with the pacifist monks of the Lily Temple. Circumstances do however force them on an extended journey in which they discover human society, their own origin and purpose and existence itself. I wrote this novel back in 2018-2019 and revised it in 2020-2021, but it was first now that I realized I should post it online. I have been thinking about making a "remaster" with better plot, more likely language and more dynamical world building. So maybe that will happen.
