Der Krieg ist vorbei und die Siebtklässler des letzten Jahrgangs kehren nach Hogwarts zurück um ihr verlorenes Schuljahr nachzuholen. Eigentlich sollte für die Schüler alles perfekt laufen, wären da nicht ein paar zwischenmenschliche Probleme die aus der Welt geschafft werden müssen.
Draco Malfoy hat es nach seiner Rückkehr nach Hogwarts nicht unbedingt einfach mit seinen Mitschülern, deren Vertrauen er verloren hat, was diese ihm auch deutlich klarmachen.
Auf einem seiner nächtlichen Ausflüge stößt er reimzufällig mit einem nur allzu gut bekanntem schwarzhaarigem Gryffindor zusammen.
Auch Harry Potter hat es im Moment nicht allzu einfach. Ihm wird das Leben allerdings nicht von seinen Mitschülern sondern von seiner Freundin Ginny Weasley erschwert.
Als die beiden Achtklässler beginnen etwas mehr Kontakt zu einander aufzubauen, hat Harry eine Idee, von welcher er glaubt das diese ihm dabei helfen könnte seine Probleme los zu werden. Ach Draco ist davon überzeugt, weshalb er zustimmt.
Dabei ist den beiden allerdings nicht bewusst was für einen langen Rattenschwanz diese Idee hinter sich herziehen wird...

Healing Draco Malfoy
Healer Potter gets a new patient in his specialized ward at St. Mungo's. He can heal injuries that no one else can and it's clear from the start that this patient is broken. Injuries and abuse dating years. He knows that he can help him and he is surprised when he discovers Draco Malfoy is his patient for the next three months. Harry has to heal his injuries from an apparent suicide attempt, but soon he realizes that it's deeper than that. Draco is fresh out of Azkaban and Harry knows that the guards must have viciously tortured him, but Draco isn't talking. He's set up to stay in the Mental Health ward permanently if Harry doesn't heal him physically and mentally. At the same time, Harry isn't the righteous force of anger and courage that he once was. He quit the Aurors and suffers from extreme social anxiety, panic attacks and PTSD attacks, though it's not from war. Harry has to deal with his problems, too, but maybe not alone anymore. Trigger warning - there are discussions about sexual assaults, associated terminology and abuse. There are many panic attacks and some sleeping, eating and drinking disorders.
