This is a Ghirahim x Ganondorf fic about how they came to be a couple. Minor language in places and small amounts of gore. All characters design's are based off of the Hyrule Warriors game. Note some characters may act differently. The fic is based off of an alternate universe to the original Zelda timelines ((this may not be competed))

~Shadows of Hyrule and its sequel are cancelled~ Please ignore the description as I've never written one before starting this fanfic. I'll get around to rewriting it soon. In an alternate timeline after the events of "The Minish Cap", Link defeats Vaati but couldn't find it in his heart to kill him. The New Demon King in Town
An unexpected mash up of Legend of Zelda and Demon Slayer. In a future Hyrule, Ganon Dragmire reigns as president, with his faithful wife, First Lady Dora Dragmire, confidently at his side. He has brought tremendous change, but all is not well. Something threatens the people of Hyrule, and he must find out who it is before his leadership comes under question. On the other hand, the Demon King of Japan finds himself displaced in a modern world abound with new opportunities to find a cure for his fatal weakness to the sun and finally achieve perfection. He is not alone. His most faithful servant is along for the journey, and the two must adapt to achieve his selfish goals. I do not own the stories or worlds of Legend of Zelda or Demon Slayer (Kimetsu No Yaiba, nor the characters of these franchises, such as Ganondorf Dragmire or Muzan Kibutsuji, but I do hope to accurately depict them in this alternate universe of a fanfiction scenario. Written in Blood . {After OoT/MM fic} Hyrule is on the brink of another bloody war when he returns, the hero that had slipped away to be forgotten by the land. No longer a hero, living a life of isolation far away from the land that had made him a legend once. Resentful and broken, Link hides it best he can, trying to focus on the future and forget. But Zelda remembers him, the person he once was. He's so different now, and perhaps she is too. The two become inseparable, but everything changes when Zelda hits puberty; she vanishes and doesn't show up at school. Link tries to contact and find her, but no luck. Five years later, Link is a 16-year-old man with severe depression and a Hero chosen by the Master Rifle. He is still in love with Zelda and thinks about her every second of his life. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda.
