James is an outcast. A loner. Extremely poor. Left alone by his own father to strive and raise his little sister all on his own. Not only that, but for the past seven years, he's been under a horrible curse─ one that painfully forces him into the body of an ugly merman every time he enters water.

Upon entering a new private high school he barely scraped tuition money for, his life is twisted around when he meets the Titus Legend League-- a group of hot boys with the lowest grades in the history of grades. And the only reason they befriend James is because of his smarts.

Or so he thought.

But it's hard to maintain friendship when you're keeping a big secret, one that might cost James everything he's ever loved.
