Beneath the Sunless Sky

The fate of Kiverryn behind them, Lulu, Idelle, and Ori embark on new adventures as their paths diverge and force them beyond the worlds of Ishara. Though their surroundings are new, their enemies are not, each new step leading them further down a path that, more and more, seems to be guided by an unseen power.

Ori, abducted by a mysterious stranger to a world unknown, finds herself once again in the role of a savior, struggling to save the lives of those around her from the very person who dragged her across the realms. His ambitions are nothing short of calamitous: to become the ancient, villainous figure from The Broken Song, the White Wolf, in order to fight the Savior as the sacred text says will happen in the Final Days. To become such, he will have to rip open the Grave, drawing the ancient enemy from beyond the known, and, in the process, threatens to consume the world. Ori's race to stop this zealot will lead her through not only this new world, but through the Grave as well, tempting her down a path of secrets long lost to the passage of time.

Lulu and Idelle, returning to their mission of attuning the Compass, are soon waylaid once more when Idelle has a vision of her long dead aunt, a woman who was said to possess a great power before the Fall of Valdornne. Her aunt tells her of an ancient being held captive in the Grave by the King of Bones and begs her to free him from his prison. Though Idelle has no knowledge of how to navigate the Grave, she feels compelled to honor the request of family and convinces Lulu to embark on this new quest with her to an unknown world, Velara. What they find leads them further into the King of Bones' path, an action that could not only endanger their own lives, but others as well for, as Lulu says, a man who calls himself the King of Bones isn't a man you can trust to follow the rules.
