Camiyelle was born and raised in the big city of Dallas, Texas by her parents. When her father dies mysteriously when she is about 9 her life takes a fast down spiral as her mother turns to things to help her cope which takes her attention over being a good mother. After many close calls her mothers finally does something that separates them and lands her in jail. Her great grandmother on her father's side comes from Rural Louisiana to take Cami with her to live. When Cami arrives in the new small town she has a hard time adjusting but its nothing like she thought it would be, and every day there something new and eerie happening as she learns frightening and confusing things about her her family history and heritage as well as that of the towns. Along with meeting a dangerous young stranger she soon realizes the move may just have been destiny as she learns about innate weird abilities she possess. Is it too much to handle? Maybe living the hard life in Texas wasn't that hard after all but does she have that choice to go back?
