It's 2046 and the world has come to an end with all of humanity. With only 30% of world having left over survivors. Coral Sanders, a middle aged man, has been surviving in a zombie apocylapse for 20 years, and is now just learning how much more dangerous the world has become after learning about his friend John's death. 

After deciding on revenge against John's Killer, Coral gets bit and infected by a highly mutated zombie called an Alpha. Thanks to a vaccine called a serum, Coral stays sane, but his body mutates him into what others call and A-Viral, making him a deadly shape-shifter.

Once set on sights of revenge, Coral then learns he is against an apocalyptic cult known as Psychosocial that wants to restart the world and turn it into a planet of feral humans that survive on cannibalism.
