Isane Kotetsu ,the lieutenant of 4th division was in her home preparing dinner after a long day of treating the injured soul reapers, making medicine for her Captain, Retsu Unohana. But as she had finished making her meal, she suddenly get a knock on her doorway. She went to see who it was, but when she finds no one in the doorway. But as she looked around she then hears a babies cry under her. She looks down to see a 5th month old baby boy in the her front of her crying.

A young white haired teenager in white and red is walking to the academy for his first day at the Academy. There he meets Momo Hinamori, Renji Abrarai, Izuru Kira, Rukia. They ask what his name was which he smiles a bit and say my name is Takato Kotetsu. From there he discovers just how gifted he was in Bakudo and Hado. And was an exceptional swordsman. But when Renji, Kira and Hinamori is about attacked by the a Hollows during their time in world of the living. He hear the call of the very same unknown monstrous voice he had heard call him in his dreams. That is when he finally met his Zanpakuto and awakens his shikai. To save his comrades.
