Valentina Aleksandra was everything but safe to mankind. After being experimented on by Hydra, they considered her as the most dangerous creation, not even her creators could control her. So she tore its base down, and escape before the Avengers could get to her. No one knows where she is until the agency's radar detected her.
Valentina doesn't want to hurt people. She just doesn't understand what's going with her, and she hates it. She hates the judgmental looks everyone's been giving her the day she lost control. That's when the heroes finally got their hands on the girl. Instead of being arrested by the government, they put her into the custody of the people who could understand her more. Or at least, that's what she's hoping. To have someone who could help her get through this. Because as long as she doesn't want to admit it, she knows she's starting to lose her mind.
And she needs someone who can make her stay grounded.

When new intel comes through about a Hydra weapon, the avengers split into two teams, one checking out a new base, while the other scours an old one. It's no coincidence that the intel comes through, and they find files about experiments done to one person. Why does one of the men stand out? Who is he, and why does she have an overwhelming need to protect him?
