Link and Zelda, miles apart in stature as the Knight and the Princess, but that didn't stop them from falling for each other. But what happens when reality strikes and one fatal mistake splits them, seemingly forever.
7 years later, while Hyrule is at War with the Gerudo, fate unites them again, albeit they aren't the same as they used to be. Are they destined to be apart forever?

The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction
Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! And will Link be able to face his greatest fear of all? The Lonely Hero is the sequel to The Lonely Knight, a novelization of BOTW. How To Be a Prince
A story which both Zelda fans and people who don't even know what Nintendo is can enjoy. It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location.
