Raven is a superhero, but she's not your typical, happy go-lucky hero. She's dark and brooding and horribly misunderstood. She finds herself alone on earth. The Teen Titans accept her into their group, but would they be so accepting if they knew the truth about her past? Could anyone ever truly understand her? Will she always feel so alone?

This is my personal take on the DC superhero Raven from the Teen Titans. I find a lot of inspiration in her character, so I'm going to write a bit of a twist on her story that emphasizes the parts of her that inspire me most. I want to dive into her mind and write something that shows who Raven truly is. My desire is that others can find hope in her story just as I have.

While a few, like Nightwing, Starfire, and Raven, understood him, everyone else kind of hated him. One day, he went too far and injured a criminal more than he should have. The taunts escalated, labeling him a murderer. Feeling utterly unwanted, Damian had enough. He left the team and disappeared, ensuring that even Batman wouldn't find him. He started traveling through the Himalayas and Nepal, seeking peace. Eventually, he found solace in India, adopting a new identity and developing an interest in playing the guitar. Seven years passed. In this time, Damian mastered 40 types of martial arts and focused heavily on archery. Under his new identity, he taught guitar to children, finding joy in guiding them and spending time with them, as they were the only ones who didn't see him as a murderer. Despite this, Damian often reflected on his upbringing and the reason for his existence. His mother, Talia al Ghul, had wanted a replacement for Ra's al Ghul, not a child, and his father, Batman, hadn't even known he existed until they met. Accepting that he was unwanted and didn't belong anywhere, Damian sometimes broke down, questioning why he couldn't have a normal life. Why the World Needs Damirae (Damian x Raven) by GZILLADC

I decided to write this explaining why this ship between the characters of Damian Wayne/Robin and Rachel Roth/Raven needs to happen. This is the only time I've ever truly cared that a ship has to take place to write something about it. I mean we all have our characters that we want to see paired up.
