Leo Valdez, is all alone. With his mother being dead, and running away from every foster home he's been to, he got stuck in this boarding school called, 'Adrian Highschool.' Finally he shows up to Mr.Summers' support group, he meets someone who could mend him.
Nico di Angelo, his mother and sister died, living with his father who rarely paid any attention to him, he tries to escape. After his math teacher at Adrian Highschool finds out, he suggests his support group. Meeting a strange boy, Nico is afraid of what will happen if he gets too close. So he pushes away.
