"Hey, Stephen, I could give you fifty reasons why I should be the one you choose. All those other girls, well they're beautiful, but would they write a song for you?"

Melanie Elwood had absolutely no hope in surviving her last year of high school happily. It's bad enough to be the new girl. It's even worse when you're the new girl for your senior year. But the teachers are really nice, and the food is really good, and she's got a parking spot right up front. And eventually, Mel thinks things will be okay.
Especially when she meets Stephen Aimes. It's just that, unfortunately, she has competition. A lot of competition.
