Our story begins from the last scene in The Mummy Returns, were we see Imhotep moments before pushing himself off the ledge he was holding onto and falling into the underworld. But what if that didn't happen? What if at the end of the second Mummy movie did Rick and Evy save Imhotep from going into the Underworld? What if Imhotep was able to be redeemed? What if he was given a second chance, a chance to use his powers for good, to help the world? In this story I explore the option of redemption for the High Priest Imhotep. Turning this character from a once hated enemy of the O'Connell family, to becoming a trust worthy friend and member of their family.

hey hey hey: read this before starting the book! you are a tourist who came to Egypt for tour. but while exploring the desert, your bus gets hijacked by some cult people. they bring you to hamunaptra. then a storm blows everyone off. you make some new friends on bus who are as equally as scared as you of the cult hijackers. to escape them you and the newfound friends run to a pyramid. then slowly your friends start dissapearing. they are being taken by somebody. some creature. sucking of their flesh off leaving their skeletons. it was because. (flashback), some people opened a tomb, finding no treasure but a mummy, you running away from those hijackers who are trying to kill everyone with their guns. you stumbled on the tomb and your blood from your palm which was cut by a sharp object somehow (recommend something please) and revived the mummy of the priest imhotep.... {thats the plot! now you read the story ahead}

The bulk of this fic is made up of the original movie script with some liberties taken to add Molly into the narrative.
