Two worlds divided, Above and Below.

Home to the savage enemies of law and order, Below was born from the ruling world Above. The doppelganger of the original world. Once was an identical sister, Below evolved to inhabit the dirty, the ugly, and the criminals. A trade of the undesirables kept her twin clean and safe of havoc. A quantum mistake or a tragic war of the world. No one knows the true events that occurred. If you look overhead, in the distance beyond the clouds you will spot a city.

Gemini Crawford is challenged daily by the expectations of her fortunate family. Raised in wealth and glory, she finds herself torn between a perfect formulated life or risk the chance and discover a sui generis side of herself. A life in Above is dependent on successors, yet Gemini detests the consequence's of living for her worth. Something of her life must change and all it took was a little push.

Gemma Beckett has tried her entire life to be something more than scum. Without fail, the real world reminds her that she's an undesirable. But Below has taught her to have a rough shell, protected from the cruelty of the world, she devotes her life to heroic crimes. With masking effort and long nights, she borrows what man would overlook and turns it to gold. Some would call her a hero, a blessing in disguise, at the chance other's would put her head on a pike and rid the Below of the wicked. Nothing will stop Gemma from giving the people what they deserve, no matter what it takes.

What once was united, two worlds live in perfect discord.

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)

"That explains the color of the sky." I looked up. "It didn't change that much. Now it goes red from time to time." Another statement I shouldn't have said. "That's because of the shooting Stars." Lydia coughed, trying to defend her father's mistakes. "You mean stolen Stars." I corrected, venom in my tone. Milady, you are one insult away from starting another war! Rasal scolded. Excuse me, I didn't start the first one, I retorted. But I probably should've kept that to myself." Confided in her enemy's home and reluctant to accept her new title: princess of Stellaregno. Annabelle Virgo must find a way out of Hydra's Palace and help her rebel friends fight the war against King Jaxon whose actions have disbalanced in the zodiac. Belle plans her escape but unexpected news makes it physically impossible for her to fight beside the rebels. Meanwhile, Tristan Capricorn, Lyra Gemini, Amara Aries, Lewis Sagittarius and the other successors of the Twelve Constellations attempt to overthrow their tyrant king and retrieve Belle. Belle and her snake friend, Rasalhague communicate with Star Spirits to cure her friend Lyra Gemini. Annabelle must survive the abuse and she faces at Hydra's Palace, the endless deaths and pressure of the Stars. (Told from different points of views.) Poem included, My Scars Will Turn To Stars by Inaya Sohail. Hoping they could take me with them, To start a new phase. I study all of them one by one. Because these are the fallen Stars. They are the people they've become. Now they're so far. Tears well up in my eyes, and I try to blink them away. I shouldn't be grieving over my losses, I am stronger than this. "But sometimes it's good to let it out," a voice says in my head. And so, I let the tears fall, let them fall with pain. Oh Stars, oh Stars, always remain. As I stare at the Stars, they seem to disappear. Published-03/05/20 Completed-14/06/20

Olivia never really paid any attention to the guys in school and she's never let herself fall in love. Ever. With college just months away, she had no interest in beginning a new relationship. Besides, she just wanted to enjoy her senior year with minimal distractions. Then her adoptive parents decide to foster an arrogant, irritating guy, who frustrated her to no end. A desert-town math whiz meets an ambidextrous artist, a Scorpio... in the wake of a best friend's death, two white envelopes that freak people out, and a diamond pearl that might be LSD. In the outskirts of Las Vegas, freshman Aurora (a.k.a. Ari) takes refuge in calculus and probability problems to escape the demons of her painful past. Math was what the prestigious prep school Staglight Academy had recruited her for-her, a girl from the wrong side of the train tracks. Plus, numbers are logical; math makes sense. This predictable world built on immutable mathematical theorems doesn't plague you with chronic insomnia, doesn't let Katrina-your best friend-die, and definitely doesn't hurl a tornado through the middle of the Mohave. But a desert cyclone is exactly how their twin escapes begin-Ari, running from the horrors that have chased her throughout time, and Xanexa, running from the horrors that have chased xyr across the universe. They run until they meet, when Ari comes face-to-face with xyr, an amazing artist whose sketches are so real they could come to life. From that initial encounter, she begins to discover the dangerous, life-threatening truths that had been buried with Katrina. Under an increasingly constricting web of manipulation and deceit that imperil Ari and those around her, those truths resurface with the ones about herself that had been buried beneath the sands of time-truths that are wholly irrational, just like art-- --and pi, a number xe shows her the end to, even though it is real, irrational, natural, and never-ending.
