December Lorrosa moves back into town with her aunt and uncle after her parents are murdered, forced to change her name, the way she looked, her personality. Every day, December is haunted by the night in which her family has died, disturbed images reminding her of every little detail.
The blood.
The glass.
The bullet.
The ink.
Now, December must keep hidden, spending her nights in fear and agony, unable to sleep, eat, think. She knows the person who did it is coming after her, she refuses to get anyone else killed. She refuses to get close to anyone. How long will that last? How long till they find her? Is she truly safe?

William Diaz has many secrets to hide. Secrets in which he isn't proud of, going from your typical high school bad boy, to straight A student in a summers time. Will has spent his whole life trying to be wanted, desperately trying to find someone who understands him, who gets what it's like to want to be understood. He immediately felt that connection with December. But the secrets he has, he's scared. If she finds out what they are, she'd surely run away. Will has never wanted to get close to, or know a persons secrets more than he does with December. Why did Will change? What made him change? What will he do to know her secrets? Who will run away first?
