Calla and Elijah, two highschoolers with futures as big as their dreams.

When romance blooms between their friends, both Calla and Elijah realize something. One realizes that romance just doesn't seem to be in the cards for them. And for the other? They realize they're in extremely deep trouble, already mentally planning their funeral for when someone finds out.

And when their already complicated home lives get even more complicated, they feel the need to keep such things a secret. Even from each other.

These two are closer than two peas in a pod, and both begin to realize that keeping secrets from the person who knows you better than yourself is hard. Especially when they can tell that something is up.

And when a little bit of distance is revealed to be growing, and when a car ride late at night just can't do the trick like it used to, Calla and Elijah find that not only is their world changing, but so are they.

All it takes is a slip of the tongue for all their secrets to come spilling out. But how long can it be before that happens?

And when they decide to stop holding back and start taking risks that could completely destroy their friendship, will it be too late?
