Ash never was a Rat. But, they offered her safety in numbers....if she complied with the Pack Leader.

Known as The Rats, this street gang is dangerous and not to be taken lightly. The Pack Leader (as the city calls him) has a unknown history. No one knows his real name or age...but that doesn't matter if you're looking down the barrel of his gun.

Ash only wanted freedom from the society that surrounded her and her family. With thoughts as morbid as the crematorium down the street, she fights mentally and physically with her heart, mind....and the Pack Leader.

Until she meets Rognvald. A gypsy who moved from from the isles of Scotland, Rognvald was known for dabbling in drugs, firearms, and the world of prostitution. However, Ash sees a side of Rognvald that even he didn't see....and this could save them from a choice that shouldn't have been.
