I glared at him. "I've been mowing these people's lawns since I was ten. You really think you can just step in here and take away all my jobs?" He gave me a confident smirk and walked away from the door.
"Oh, most definitely." He said.

When Ezekiel Adams, better known as Zeke, gets sent away to spend the summer with his grandparents in a small Iowa town, he doesn't expect much. All he really wants to do is spend the summer with his friends and finally get enough money to buy a new car. He figures that he can mow lawns for his new neighbors, but he doesn't expect competition, especially in the form of Anastasia Newburry.
About as confusing as one girl can get, Anastasia Newburry makes a living by mowing lawns around her small town. No one new ever comes, and no one ever leaves. It's a peaceful enough life for most, but Anastasia's life is shrouded in mystery, and even those close to her don't know what she's going through most days.
Both teen's lives will be turned upside down when they meet each other. Both want the money, and both will do whatever is necessary to get it. The peace in their little town will be shattered..
