Coming to You

I never thought my life would come to this.

"I've always loved you, from the first day we met, I did..." I just might cry knowing I will never see him again.
"You are my everything, my light, my life, my heart, I love you." I can't believe I'm the first to say it. I always thought it'd be him.

I know what I'm about to tell him is just for his sake and is a total lie.
"I'm coming to you." I say tearing up.
"Ana I-" he starts but it's too late.
And just before I get the phone smashed, I realize that's the last time I will ever hear his previous, sweet, Irish voice.

I'm thrown to the ground, frightened, I start screaming, knowing no one will hear. I can hear him screaming my name before getting hung up on.

"You won't get away with this."

"Oh, but you don't realize, I've done it before, and I'm going to do it again." He smirks.

That's when I think back to what happened so many years ago, this is the man I've always feared, and he's most certainly not my uncle.
