This story was suggested by a friend, and tries to rectify the tragic ending of "DDLC: Fallen Angel", a modified story for the PC game DDLC.
Through the point of view of a new character who is inserted into the plot, the events leading to tragedy are changed or corrected.
The story itself is a romance, where the protagonist is an empath who gets physical symptoms of all strong feelings his beloved feels. As she is already engaged in another relationship, this kind of twin sense, that he calls a Soulbond, is torturing to the protagonist and he struggles with suicidal ideas until he finds a new purpose on life, by living without desires in a state of perfect devotion.
