A mysterious virus masses over the world and everyone couldn't be any more unready. The virus infects and turns innocent beings into ravenous, violent, cannibalistic creatures who reap havoc onto the world. The army has orders to begin killing off any who they believe are infected and kill off any stragglers from their recent explosion inside a city in an attempt to eradicate those who succumbed to the infected, making them no better than the creatures themselves. Bandits become a commonplace and everything is going to hell so quick. 17 year old Kevin and his 5 year old sister are caught right in the middle of it after being abandoned by their parents early in the outbreak. Everyday is a constant fight for life, death awaits every turn. Who can they trust? Will they find salvation? The infected stirs....
